Regent is Seeking an Executive Director
Regent Soccer Club is looking for an Executive Director to help lead the organization forward. Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, this position will be responsible for the overall direction and success of the club — from big-picture strategy to day-to-day operations.
About the Role
The Executive Director will guide the club in areas such as strategic planning, financial management, operations, staff leadership, and community engagement. They will also serve as Regent’s public face, representing the club with families, partner organizations, and the broader soccer community.
Key Focus Areas
- Strategic Leadership – Develop and carry out long-term plans that reflect Regent’s mission and vision.
- Financial Oversight – Build and manage budgets, ensure fiscal health, and lead fundraising and sponsorship efforts.
- Operations – Oversee programs, events, and vendor relationships to ensure smooth, efficient delivery year-round.
- Staff & Volunteers – Hire, support, and lead staff and coaches, while fostering a positive, collaborative environment.
- Community Connections – Strengthen relationships with families, players, partner organizations, and other local clubs to make soccer accessible and welcoming to all.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking an experienced, mission-driven leader with proven skills in management, operations, and relationship building. Knowledge of youth sports, non-profit organizations, or soccer development is a strong plus. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator who thrives in collaboration, is comfortable with fiscal responsibility, and brings energy and vision to advancing Regent’s mission.

Regent Soccer Club is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization serving nearly 1,000 players across more than 75 teams in the Madison area. We are the oldest and largest member of MAYSA, with deep roots in our community and a strong commitment to keeping soccer accessible for all.
